Class Verse: Proverbs 20:11
“Even a child is known by their doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.”
Our Junior Class is composed of fourth, fifth and sixth graders, who at this age really enjoy helping and serving. These children are busy people. God expects his bees to do the job he gave them. Bees are constantly busy with their work. Their work ensures their existence.
Just like bees, God expects his children to do the job or purpose for which he created them. Our children need to be trained to be busy people and to work with their hands and understand the importance of having a hard work ethic. In the home, at church, and abroad they need to have a servant’s heart.
The Carpenter is Jesus (Mark 6:3.) Jesus was a humble servant and a great example for us to follow. Children enjoy being active but if left to themselves, these busy people will become curious in the wrong things including unhealthy, harmful and even sinful activities bringing dishonor and shame to their parents and to God. The need is great to train up our children to be busy people for God and for right.
The purpose behind the class name, The Carpenter’s Bees, is simply,
“Busy people are hard workers for Jesus”
We hope and pray that each child comes to know Jesus as their Savior and then develops a heart to serve and be as busy as bees,
The Carpenter’s Bees, to serve the Lord at home and at church and at play.
Please pray for The Carpenter’s Bees as we partner with the parents of these busy people, to instill a godly foundation of character and a hard wok ethic.
