Welcome to our Nursery

abc-blocks

Outside of salvation, our children are God's greatest gift to us. We are dedicated to providing a safe, clean and happy environment for children 4 years old and younger. Below you find our church nursery policy. If you have any futher questions please contact us.

Why have a Church Nursery

  • Babies and toddlers can be a great dstraction during the church services
    • We can never tell the spontaneous behavior of a baby
    • Even if they are sitting still & quiet, thier cute faces & gestures keep the people around them occupied when they should be focused on the message
    • Babies are more comfortable in a place whre they can be cared for & not hushed for making noise
    • Having a nursery makes it possible for people with small children to serve the Lord in a class and not have to worry about if he/she is safe and cared for

Who can be a Nurser Worker

  • She is a lady that regularly attends Mays Landing Baptist Church
  • She has taken nursery training classes
  • She is a cheery and responsible person

Who is the nursery for

For  any children 4 years of age and under, however we do ask that no sick babies /children are brought to the nursery. A sick child could be contageous to the other children. A sick child would include a child that has one or more of the following: green/yellow runny nose, fever, red eyes, body rash, open sores, coughing & sneezing. If your child is sick, please keep him/her with you. You are welcome to sit in the back of the auditorium so that you can conveintly exit incase they require attention.
